The Castle will be closed for a private event on Thursday 29th March. The viewing platform will be closed but the Tearoom will be open as normal.


Severndroog Castle is a tower situated in the Oxleas Woods in the Royal Borough of Greenwich. Built on Shooter's Hill, one of the highest points in London, this impressive 18th century building is community-run and offers a historical visitor experience, with our viewing platform giving some of the most spectacular views in London, along with an exciting events programme that runs throughout the year.

Severndroog Castle is open:

Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays ,12:30am-4:30pm (25th Mar - Oct). Please see closures here.

The Terrace Tearoom is open: Tuesday to Sunday, 10am to 4:30pm.  Click here for details.
