FRIDAY 13TH SEPTEMBER: C&W Film Festival Screening of Hitchcock's 'Vertigo'

On Friday 13th of September, with Charlton & Woolwich Free Film Festival, we will be showing an outdoor screening of Hitchcock's classic film Vertigo.  We invite you to join us in the courtyard of the historic Severndroog Castle, the only place in the city you can enjoy a cocktail surrounded by ancient woodland and experience 360° views of London and its surrounding counties. Sit back, watch the sun slowly set and be thrilled by Hitchcock’s psychological thriller ‘Vertigo’ this Friday 13th. This year, the Charlton & Woolwich Film Festival has chosen to screen ‘Vertigo’, a 1958 American film noir psychological thriller directed and produced by Alfred Hitchcock. The story was based on the 1954 novel ‘D'entre les morts’ (From Among the Dead) by Boileau-Narcejac. The screenplay was written by Alec Coppel and Samuel A. Taylor.   A very limited amount of Viewing Platform tickets are available for exclusive access to stunning twilight panoramic views of London from the top of the Castle. Looking westward over the city on a clear day you can experience perfect sunsets. Following taking in our dazzling views, head back downstairs to watch Hitchcock’s ‘Vertigo’ on an outdoor screen.   Food and cocktails will be available to buy from Severndroog's partner The Terrace Tearoom.   Explore and enjoy the Castle after hours whist listening to the soulful and sassy tones of the Soul Duo Razamataz at one of our summer late night openings.  We invite you to join us in the courtyard of the historic Severndroog Castle, the only place in the city you can enjoy a cocktail surrounded by ancient woodland and experience 360° views of London and its surrounding counties. Sit back, relax as the sun slowly sets and listen to the sounds of Motown classics from Heather Haywood and Roy Hamilton of Razamataz.  Book a premium ticket and experience the sunset view from our rooftop in addition to our Live Soul Music performance! Severndroog is a tower built in the 18th century situated in the Oxleas Woods in the Royal Borough of Greenwich. Built on Shooters Hill, one of the highest points in the city, the viewing platform boasts some of the most spectacular views in London. A very limited amount of Premium Tickets are available for exclusive access to stunning twilight panoramic views of London from the viewing platform on top of the castle. Join us at the historic Severndroog Castle, the only place in the city you can enjoy a cocktail surrounded by ancient woodland and experience 360° views of London and its surrounding counties. We welcome you to take in our breathtaking views as we showcase young talents that are guaranteed to make an impression, which include live acoustic soul musicians and an amazing exhibition of the visual artist Andrea Passaponti that will challenge the lines of contemporary drawing.
